We are pleased to feature another coffee from Bette Buna, a farm owned by a Dutch-Ethiopian family. Bette Buna is committed to creating equitable opportunities for local coffee communities through the production of high-quality coffee. This is achieved by paying fair wages to their workers, collectively agreed upon before the season commences. Furthermore, they share knowledge with local coffee plantations and make their washing station available to all plantations in the region. The coffee plants cultivated at these high altitudes, combined with lower nighttime temperatures, result in slower-growing, denser, and harder beans, forming the foundation for the intense flavor profile.
